Gus Johnson is the best in the business. When him and Raftery work together it's like every game is the national championship. Can't wait until March.

What I like is that he is more than a ''hired voice'' and seems to actually do his homework and understand the game very well. He does not let his calls overtake the game itself,unlike the Vitale,who lost it years ago. Gus still keeps us in the here and now,not wondering off in tangents. And his signature calls add excitement,unlike Dickie.

Gus has a great voice, knows the game, knows the teams and is a joy to listen to. Oh and he is not a homer like many announcers. He calls an even game. Dickie V loves him some Duke and ACC baby!

Gus just does his job well, which is rare for commentators today, most ramble on about personal experiences and cannot be unbiased. I particularly enjoyed him dragging out Basabe's name, just cracked me up.

How can we get Gus to to the National Championship game with Clark Kellog and not Jim Nantz?
