Montee Ball jumped by 5 guys

I bet if it were late in the 4th quarter of a 30 point blowout, Montee Ball would have destroyed those guys.
 
Glad he's OK. But how many times does a beaten up guy ever say "I was running my mouth and got my butt kicked"? Almost always the guy says he was jumped, sucker-punched, 5 on 1, or I was quietly minding my own business and they attached for no reason.

Again, hopefully there are witnesses to shed more light on the story and catch the guys who did it, but I'm a little skeptical of this story.

Whenever the odds are 5 on 1 someone is going to say they were "jumped". Of course he probably initiated it. He's the same guy who pompously demanded he be allowed to party on some strangers front porch. I don't think anyone is naive enough to believe Montee Ball, of all people, was randomly jumped in downtown Madison (where his face is extremely recognizable). What kind of guys are gonna jump the star football player on campus if he did nothing to initiate it?

Either way, the football season can't get here soon enough. This time of year is when stupid crap like this happens because players have way too much time on their hands.
 
Come on, Im sure he was walking from library to library with his head down and not saying a word to anyone. He did nothing to bring this on
 
Being in college in today's world isn't what most of you think apparently. People get jumped for no reason all the time. I go to ISU and its a pretty common thing. Have some respect for someone who could have been seriously injured instead of assuming he instigated things.

I was going to call BS on this but I thought about it and I recall a rash of random violent attacks on people here in downtown IC. I have no idea what the hell that was about or if its still happening but I haven't heard anything about that in a while. With that said I'm still guessing that Ball was running his mouth and got it closed for him but who knows.
 
I'm pretty sure the five guys who stomped Ball were all Adderall addicts.
 
I'm sure Ball was running his mouth or slept with some dudes girl.

With that said, people randomly jump people all the time these days. Happens in IC quite a bit although they seem to have gotten it under control. ****ers.
 
Yeh, I don't know what all the fuss is about. OK4P gets Ball-punched at work pretty much every week, and you don't see him in the ER.
 
I'm betting it was the o-line that jumped him. He was probably running his mouth about how good he was and either knocking the o-line or not giving them any cred at all.
 
Ate at 5 guys in West Palm last weekend for first time, great burger. I didn't get jumped.
