Monday Night Football

That was brutal last night. I heard her on the TV as well when the game started and I totally forgot about her and ol' sexy Rexy doing the commentating. It was sub par to say the least. There's just something about her voice that makes my skin cringe. Rex was just as bad. Plus side is she no longer calls Hawks games right? And for some strange reason the interwebs thinks Beth did well, Rex was a complete failure and the new sideline reporter Sergio Dipp is all the rage at the moment...

No shit. That was awkward. Damn interns. I actually thought Beth did alright. Didn't annoy me as much last night as during college games, for some reason.

She was fine... i actually thought Rex sucked pretty bad. Couldn't hear him most of the night. Who knew a guy known for being kind of a loud mouth was so soft spoken?

He was probably sidetracked and mesmorized by Beth's sexy feet.
Omg I was wondering if someone was going to go there as I read through these.... haha. As far as that poor sideline kid goes I guess it makes me curious to know who all he beat out for that spot. It sure doesn't bode well for them I'd say either. ESPN must be in a rough spot if that's where they are. That whole telecast was brutal. I flipped on a podcast at halftime and kept the TV volume down the rest of the game. I can very easily watch a game without announcers anymore.

I have always hated listening to Beth, but Rex made me wish she would talk more. Neither were as bad as the all time worst... Dennis Miller

Here's how it went down.

Young inexperienced sideline reporter $ vs Seasoned sideline reporter $$$$$

Yeah there's no way he was paid what Erin Andrews is getting... But think about that. ESPN the self proclaimed 'World wide Leader in Sports" is cutting corners big time on talent in regards to the one thing that makes them bank and that's live sports. All the studio opinion based shows that they have been diving head first into to me is where they should be cutting back on. They have dozens and dozens of 'personality' folks that do nothing but give their opinions on everything but their talent pool on those that are delivering the live sports is their bell cow. Cutting corners on the live sports broadcasts should be their last resort not first.
Have you all heard about that Ryen Russillo radio guy for ESPN and what he did? He got a 2 wk slap on the wrist for being a total drunken douche. All he does is a radio show for them as far as I know. A gig that I thought Chris Hassel would have been perfect for. Plus he could do Sportscenters, announce games. There's a multitude of things he's good at. More bang for your buck... Yet I'm not a big wig up in their swanky offices so what do I know

I did find it hilarious that ESPN brought back Hank Williams Jr. Gonna be hard for people to claim "liberal agenda" when the guy who compared Obama to Hitler is doing your main event's theme song.
