Missouri and Recruiting

Missouri has a couple of kids that are ranked in the Top 150 for the 2013 class and each have Iowa on their interest lists.
With all the trouble that Frank Haith from his time at Miami FL, this would be a perfect time to swoop in and get a couple Midwestern kids that are not only talented, but can be significant contributors.
Jordan Swopeshire is an athletic SF, who has good all around game.
Nolan Berry is a PF that would be a nice addition if Iowa can't secure Elijah Macon.

The top targets for Iowa for me still remain Peter Jok and Akoy Agau. These are two players that right now are ranked higher than both Jok/Agau.

Edit: Swopshire is not in the Top 150, but was at the U-16 Team USA trials.

Once Fran gets Woodbury on board the perception of Iowa basketball will begin to finally swing the opposite direction it took the last five years. There is absolutely nothing wrong with living in Iowa City. Add onto the perception of the beginnings of a successful basketball program and a new practice facility and the recruits will come. We are just seeing the beginnings of it now. "If you build it they will come." "They will come Ray (I mean Fran) they will come to re-live their childhood dreams of hawkeye basketball past. Dreams of fast breaks and slam dunks. Roaring crowds and eardrum popping decibel level auditorium rattling cheers........ they will come Fran......they will come." What I am having trouble with is where are we going to put the cornfield at? Lol

Yes, I have to think that Haith could be somewhat vulnerable as the NCAA continues the Miami probe. There are many photos that link him to Shapiro. His assistants were heavily involved. If the wheels of NCAA justice do not grind too slowly, this stuff could be hitting the fan next spring,and summer,just in time to disrupt Haith's recruiting or be banned by the NCAA.
Missouri has to be sick with this hanging over their heads...new hire tainted before stepping foot in the door?.ouch.
