Next week the Hawks need to count on the D line to contain the run. MN didn't have much of a run game today. Cannot let those big play throws beat you. Poor game plan by PSU.

The RPO(s) were on point today the Minnesota QB did a great job of selling run when they were throwing it.

We have shown that we want to do more out of the gun this year than in prior years, but Minnesota lines up almost exclusively in the gun. Almost impossible to do any RPO stuff from under center, especially if you want to make it a significant part of your offense.

Yes but you keep trying it especially agaisnt their good pass rush that game.

No you dont. It failed therefore it is always going to fail. So you run a wide zone rush to the short side because this is comfortable.

Because of our terrible blocking scheme teams don’t need to run blitz to stop the run so the LBs and safeties don’t need to bite on anything. They know if it’s a run the line can handle it.
