I could see a KSU loss dropping them below Michigan. Not so sure about a Georgia loss...computers will bump their SOS a lot for playing LSU....and I doubt the pollsters will punish them.
Exactly. Even if they would jump KSU, that would only put them at #15.I could see a KSU loss dropping them below Michigan. Not so sure about a Georgia loss...computers will bump their SOS a lot for playing LSU....and I doubt the pollsters will punish them.

Michigan stays at #16 in USA Today poll which is 1/3 of BCS.Another absurdity of this system: Michigan could very well be rewarded for NOT playing in the conference championship game.
What if Penn state refuses a bowl game
So who falls out of the top 14? Georgia and Oklahoma aren't going to be punished that much for losing to the number 1 and 3 teams. Michigan isn't just going to magically move up in the BCS standings by not playing. A team between 8-14 is going to have to lose.
It doesn't matter what they are ranked this week, come next Sunday Michigan will be ranked ahead of the Wisconsin/Michigan St loser and ahead of Georgia when they lose to LSU and could be ahead of Oklahoma if they lose to Oklahoma St.
There are plenty of games left in this next weekend that could very easily put Michigan into the top 14.

Sounds like OSU vs Fla in the Gator is going to happen. I'd be shocked if Iowa doesn't go to Houston.
Which happened for Iowa twice
Huh? The Big Ten didn't have a conference championship game before this season, so you're apparently referring to crap that happens with other conferences (although obviously the SEC loves this, seeing how the West is #1-3).
But then, I'm not sure what point you're trying to make at all. The loser of the Big Ten CG will not make a BCS bowl, period, which would be ridiculous if that loser is MSU when they flat out beat Michigan, finished with a better conference record, and played for the title.
Throw all the smilies out there you want, the system is a joke.
And take a breath, you are taking this stuff waaaay to seriously
The hundreds of millions left on the table in the form of a playoff is serious money.
