Is Iowa at 85 scholarship players on the roster this year? With the RB and D-line defections recentl,y I'm curious if the total number has dipped some down. Its a pretty young team and had a lot of walk-ons in the 2-deeps last year. Seems some attrition has to be in the mix.

I tend to agree, but it may be more like 27-17.

Ferentz has been here over a decade, and this is where the program is, hoping to beat an FCS team. Outside of Iowa Ferentz is seen as nothing more than a vastly overpaid average at best coach.

Actually it's a lot like it. A team that Iowa shouldn't even be scheduling, let alone losing to.
