Miller: Big Risk, Possible Big Reward with Hubbard

Yes, he has kept his nose clean except for when he was charged with assault this year. I understand they were dismissed but people making him into some kind of angel needs to stop.

Jay, usually when these types of charges are dropped it is because the prosecutors see after some study of the reports that no crime was committed. I myself was charged with assault simply for getting punched in face several times, I refused to fight back because I was in the attacking persons home and knew that the event would be construed to look poorly on myself ..so I was willing to take the beating instead. The charges were dropped immediately as long as I promised not to retaliate in any way. the reason I was there is personal, but trust me I was not seeking trouble.

As far as Hubbard's situation it is standard procedure when any PO is called to a physical altercation involving a tussle (read: him trying to break up a cat fight) for the parties involved to be arrested and charged until the prosecutors can sort it out.

I don't need to remind you how vindictive people can be after an argument, specially those with a propensity towards drama.

I get that the charges were dropped and that it may have been a misunderstanding, but why is a felon even getting involved in something like that? I am fine with him being on the team, but fans are acting like he has become a Morman missionary after he got out of jail. It just doesn't look good in my eyes for someone with so much to lose is getting caught up in cat fights at 25 years of age.

It could be any number of reasons, but usually it involves a loved one such as a serious girlfriend, wife or sister getting into an altercation (could happen anywhere) and your first instinct is to get them out of danger/trouble. This happens more often than you would think.

That said I totally understand your desire for others to temper their high hopes for Anthony with realism and I am sure he would feel the same.

I don't see an issue with trying to BREAK UP a fight. But that's just me.
