Mike Riley Is Stealing Players From Scott Frost!!

Can't understand, for the life of me, why he is whining about wanting to keep RILEY'S recruits. Isn't that his excuse why they suck---needs time to get HIS guys in. He should be doing cartwheels to get rid of ANY Riley players that want to leave

He will probably blame them for the teams poor execution and morale.

Not only makes Frost looks bad, but it's useless anyway.

Starting Monday there are apparently new transfer rules that say you can't restrict players like that.

Focus on the guys that want to stay, dummy!

Remember when nebby "stole" scotty frost from Stanford? Oh wait...

His success at nebby is 100% on the legs and arm of his qb. Now, I actually think that Martinez kid is the real deal.

Frost is a decent coach, and was a tough player. But the lore far outweighs the reality. His '97 squad was stacked to the hilt with studs everywhere except wr. That oline and dline had about 8 NFL guys on it.

And THAT is what nebby hasn't had in 20 years.

I've always contended Osborne knew what was gonna happen, and it's why he stepped down. They would remain solid, but with scholly limits, they would never dominate again.

F nebby.

the dipshits on 1620 The Zone have been saying "Mike Riley is stealing Nebraska recruits" all day. None of them know he's no longer there and coaching in the AAF now. NONE of them. Like, you can google Mike Riley and get that kind of info.

And let me ask you this.... did ANY UCF players come with Frost when he came from UCF to Nebraska - Did he go after any of their recruits? If the answer is yes, than I would call him a giant hypocrite to say the least.

In the end that kid will transfer where he wants to. The AD will step in at some point, Frost will cool down more and let him go.

True, though the kid may even have to sit out a year and pay his own way (like Jarrod Uthoff did).

From this article from the OWH:

“We want to win games, you know, and try and get to a bowl game,” inside linebacker Mohamed Barry said. “We still got seven games left — six that’s winnable games — and, you know, we can do that. And it starts with Northwestern.”

Nebraska's remaining schedule:
Sat, Oct 13
@Northwestern

Fri, Oct 19
vsMinnesota

Fri, Oct 26
vsBethune-Cookman

Fri, Nov 2
@3 Ohio State

Fri, Nov 9
vsIllinois

Fri, Nov 16
vsMichigan State

Fri, Nov 23
@Iowa

So here is the issue: any player worth a darn will look at his upcoming games and say, "You know what, we can win every one of these." Even if it is not probable, it certainly could happen, and all players and teams should have confidence in their ability.

But it is weird to say, "We can win all of these but one." He has now established a pecking order. It is OSU, and then it is Nebraska on an even playing field with the rest of these chumps.

Kind of makes you want to see them go down hard, doesn't it?

That's what I say, you can't have it both ways.

The simple fact that they are only as good as or better than 1 for sure team on that list. They could and very well might get beat by the six teams not named BFU.

What Barry meant to say was that they have seven games left and that six of them have a possibility of being played on Friday.

Is that possible? They finish with six consecutive Friday games?

And while we're on the subject of Nebraska, Frost just needs to STFU. Please and thank you. And what will that say about how far their program has sunk when the goal posts get torn down after Frost's first win vs the mighty Bethune Cookman?
