Freddy Russell was a hell of back. Good to see Greenway, Sanders, and Roth in the black and gold.

I gotta say though the crowd is dead in this game. I was there as I was a junior at Iowa and don't remember anything about the game ;), but it sounds like there are 6 people in the stands.

I heard Fred Russell will be at the game tomorrow. Can't remember where I heard that at but anyone know if it's true.

How many NFL player were on that team. I counted 10 . Gallery, Scott Chandler, Hodge, Greenway, Bob, Considine (sp) Jovon, Roth, Babs, and Clauss. Any others I missed?

Agree the crowd sounded dead.

Strange not to have the instant replay for the questionable calls.

Big bounce-back game during what turned out to be a 10-win season considering we laid an egg the week before at MSU.

I was there and the crowd wasn't dead. I was amazed when I got home and watched the game on tape. It does sound quiet on TV.

Even at the end it doesn't sound loud on TV but believe me, it was pretty crazy in that 4th quarter.

Many, many long time fans have said that game was the single loudest crowd in Iowa history. I was there and I agree. They have the sound muted bigtime on this broadcast. It as so deafening, you could not hear yourself think.

I'll agree- sat with the students during this game and this game was NOT quiet. Maybe it was quiet outside the students, I dunno.
