Exactly, this is a learning experience for them. They will learn and they will improve and grow into a big ten team. They will assimilate the level of competition they play. It just takes time for it to happen. Officiationg was obviously bias, and I am not one to complain, but our players were getting fouled and the officials swallowed their whistles.

This. We all knew this was likely a loss and probably an ass whoopin. It is what it is and guys just need to learn where the holes are and try to plug ‘em. Flush it and move on, it isn’t like this first BMC team came into preseason ranked 12th or something. They have to be patient and get progressively better. Off they can finish above .500 in conference this first year it’s a win in my book.

I don’t know what people were expecting here. MSU is an interior team and that is absolutely not Iowa’s strength. Sparty has played like the best team in CBB the first month. They are better than Iowa but we knew that before they got off the bus

Oh, I'm not shocked and definitely like these Hawkeyes 100x better than any of Frans last several teams. Ben's SO much better at personnel management and system vs players, not to mention, defense, FINALLY!
Stirtz will be fine but can't deny he, et al, shit the bed shooting and handling ... Just like most teams will playing in Breslin this yr. Izzo has a really good team in like 5 yrs and is back in Izzo mode. They beat / Izzoed another good team .... Like they should being #7 and Izzo squawking at home.
Cripes! Remember 20? yrs ago Iowa beating #5 Purdue by 30 in Carver on a frickin sizzling 3-point shooting night by that red-head? In the name of All Holy ... Lickliter beat Izzo with a jr high roster and a lucky off night by Sparty.
