Michigan St Dirty Recruiting - please elaborate

Dude the site's moderator/owner is the one saying it happened plus Cooper has verified this during interviews after he committed... If you want to be "skeptical" about it that's fine but i'm a little confused how much information you need before you consider something to be true. When it comes to message board material this is about as good as it gets in regards to factual information. Jon isn't going to risk his connections and morals by making something like this up. Plus Cooper's decision came down to Iowa and MSU. Clearly he was considering MSU until they went the negative route, why on earth would he feel the need to make it up?

I'm with this guy. I really don't see too much problem with Michigan State did. You don't think people have been using JoePa's age against him for about the last 10 years, telling kids that 'You know, he's probably not going to be there for your entire career'?

Exactly. Schools did it to Hayden Fry and Bobby Bowden, are doing it to JoePa, and some are probably even "hinting" about KF not being around once all his kids are out of the house.

But...there IS a difference between using that and lying about something like the Rhabdo situation.

Of course, the way kids leave and/or choose not to honor LOIs, or don't even sign them ala Seantrel Henderson, or have schools lie to them about "potential" problems...it sort of gets down to, "Is is regular sleazy, Tressel sleazy, or are we talking SEC sleazy?"

What MSU did was sleazy, perhaps...but it's not like they offered the kid money, a car and a couple of cheerleaders.
