Now that it is Tuesday after the press conference, time for predictions.......

I have the same bad feeling I had before the AZ game....but I am going to flip flop on my prediction from the beginning of the year.

Iowa 24
Mich 23

Meyer misses a FG early but redeems himself in the final seconds to win.

Our defense holds them down most of the game but a few big plays get us. But their defense has no shot against our offense. They get a big play TD in the 4th quarter to give them a glimmer of hope but we dominate the whole game.

Iowa- 37
Mich- 21

If Iowa wins by less than 14, I will be extremely disappointed. Michigan is not a good football team.

Iowa 42
Michigan 17

Michigan doesn't ever play any defense. Against anybody. It's not out of the realm of possibility to expect Iowa to score 5 or 6 TDs on offense. Meanwhile, Michigan's offense was exposed as a one-man operation against MSU. Denard had 21 carries and was held under 100 yards. If that trend continues, he'll be held together with duct tape and bubble gum by the end of the season. I expect him to carry the ball less against us and try to throw downfield more. We saw how that worked last year. This game will not be close. Unless Michigan suddenly discovers how to play defense and how to run a balanced offense, we'll roll them.

If a team that's ranked 42nd in the nation in total defense (Michigan State) can hold Michigan to 17 points, the team that's 4th in the nation in total defense surely better not surrender more than that. Especially with 2 weeks to prepare.

Michigan has trouble in the Red Zone, but move the ball fairly well between the hashes. Sprinkle in a few 3 and Outs and a couple turnovers and Michigan has a very average day on Offense.

Iowa's offense gets the lead early via the pass and runs the ball to eat clock. Which, against a porous Blue defense, results in a huge time of possession advantage and more points.

Iowa 38 Michigan 16

Michigan 52
Iowa 3

DRob has a career day, with a 400 yards passing and 200 yards rushing. He scores every single Michigan point, including kicking the XPs.
