Michigan at Nebraska

Iowa played WSU last year, so Iowa fans know their team. Early, the juco forward, is a fabulous player. Fred VanVleet, their soph pg from Rockford, Ill. is a guy I saw in HS and wanted the Hawks to recruit him. He was 1st team all-state in Illinois, and no big ten team pursued him...mistake..the kid is nails tough.

As for Cuse, they have Fair, who is one of the best players in the country, and a number of other top players.

Now we will never know how big of a fan of the game Seth is. Way to go.

You're absolutely right....probably not to you and your brethren Tavern Hoks....myopically looking only within our borders.

For those of us true college BB fans, it draws our attention to the school, if not just for a bit, and, what is going on there to make them undefeated.
(Who are the players, coaches, story lines, big games coming up). There is always something to glean of interest.

Same goes for me in football as well after the 6th week or so. Who's making the noise, and why.

No harm in ignoring all of that. It's OK for in-state ostriches to exist...I just hope you guys don't run out of on-tap PBR.

This was quite entertaining. Where should I begin???

Ok, first, you respond to a post with just the words "dumb" and nothing else. When in fact it was not a dumb post, it was an opinion of ESPN continuously showing the "unbeaten" teams in the nation. If you would have came up with an argument of why, I would have left it alone. Sure, it is interesting to see who is undefeated, but at the end of the day, I don't think it matters that much.

Next, you call me out as being a "Tavern Hok" and not a college basketball fan. This is the best part of the post. What makes me a "Tavern Hok" and not a college basketball fan exactly? And how do you derive that from a post about undefeated teams? If you would pay attention to some of my posts, I am constantly posting on non-Iowa related basketball threads. I usually focus on the B1G games (along with Iowa of course) because this is a website dedicated to Iowa sports (btw, they play in the B1G). Since you are so smart about college basketball, I encourage you to fill us in on what's going on outside of Iowa City.

Finally, you call me an "in-state ostrich" ... which is funny because it looks like you are the one who lives in Iowa. That obviously doesn't matter, but you have no idea what you are talking about. You are just p*ssed that you were challenged on a post. So, I would suggest you quit being so insecure, and quit calling people out, when you are the one who is clueless.

PS - I don't even like PBR

Michigan will likely be 4-0 and then comes the rain.

@ Wisconsin
Iowa
@ Michigan State

Purdue
@ Indiana
Nebraska

More rain...

@ Iowa
@ Ohio State
Wisconsin
Michigan State
@ Purdue (after those last 4 will be tough)

Minnesota
@ Illinois
Indiana

Edit - Looks like 9-9 to me...5-9 after the 4-0 start.

I think Michigan defends their home court very well and loses only to MSU thinking 11-7 maybe even 12-6 for them Lose at Iowa, OSU, MSU, Wisky, probably Illinois. maybe other road loss at Indiana.

That'd be an incredibly optimistic outcome for Michigan, IMO. I see 8 more games I'd give them a chance to win, and pretty much no team wins every game they've got a chance to win. 8-10 or 9-9 is a lot more likely, IMO.
