It's pretty clear he's going to Notre Dame so why not just say so and be done with it?

I get the disappointment from an Iowa perspective, but he's a high school junior holding an announcement at his school around family and friends of the biggest decision of his life he's worked very hard to achieve. I don't see a problem with it at all.

You sound like a sour douche that is mad at a kid because his talent it 1000X more than yours ever was and he isn't going to Iowa. Let him enjoy his commitment with his family, friends, and coaches.

What you are saying is because his mind is made up he should just have a tweet to tell everyone where he is going. The thing is, he obviously doesn't care about you but he does care about the people that have helped him get to this point which is who he is going to do the presser with. You are p*ssy bc he isn't going to Iowa and want him to not enjoy his commitment bc his choice doesn't satisfy you. Quit thinking about yourself and realize you are talking about a 17 year old kid.

NEIC why would I apologize if he chose Iowa? I wasn't the one annoyed at a kid for enjoying his moment with loved ones.

That's literally not at all how I feel or what I think. My initial comment was an innocuous statement. I was just genuinely wondering. You are adding all of these other layers that just aren't true.

I'm not upset in the slightest as I'd never heard of him before seeing Rob's post. I hope he enjoys his commitment and your claim that I hope he doesn't is complete BS. I know he doesn't care about me, and I'm not thinking about myself at all. You're attacking me for things you conjured up. Relax man.

Kelly wants to leave town if he isn't fired before he gets the chance, South Bend is a garbage town, just 12,000 in enrollment filled with mostly trust fund babies, and you can't compete for a conference championship. Why do recruits still want to go here? This isn't the 90's

Is noone interested in the fact that he lists the Hawks first? Timeline is a bit hazy. Sure he just went to Notre Dame visit, but we also just hired our WR coach. 1 phone call from Copeland could have sealed the deal if he already liked Iowa and Ferentz 1&2. Just saying the timeline could point to ND or Iowa based on perspective. I for one will watch his announcement with a touch of optimism.
