Funny how one guy says he believes in championships at U$C if Helton isn't coach. He conveniently forgets Pete Carroll had to bail or they would have hanged him.
Well their fans realize they are soft and dont tackle well.
Funny but so many teams just do not tackle well and it is the number 1 thing you have to do on defense, tackle, and next is play your position and cover receivers. But tackling is #1 and so many teams are bad.
Hell the hawks were tackling sloppily in the first qtr and it showed in USC moving the ball. But the hawks settled down.

They have a nebraska-esque way of blaming the loss on their not living up to their “ability” rather than getting beat by a better team. Basically they’re saying that Iowa didn’t beat them, they beat themselves.
That’s a hallmark of a childish, excuse-making, and (most importantly) delusional personality. In other words, they still think they’re good and are surprised they aren’t winning nattys.
Frost and USC should start the Uncle Rico Association of America, est. 1994. They could even do like the Hell’s Angels and get leather vests with “6-6 er” patches instead of “1% er.”
Get Miami in the mix and you have a perfect three team charter of has-beens.

Our DB's weren't, they got burnt pretty bad at times.
Fry is absolutely correct on his comparison of USC and Nebraska. And really so many other teams. When teams continue to not commit to running the football with their running backs, not play sound defense, not understand complimentary strategic football and put your quarterback in dangerous positions, you will not be a successful program. Ever. Not going to happen.

After the offensive fireworks Brian Ferentz put on last night...OJ may be coming for him for making the USC defense look like butter.
