McNutt - "OK, just catch it."

Shortly after someone asked McNutt when he realized they won and he said (not a direct quote) that it was when he was out of breath from the pile on top of him. He said the pile started with Eubanks. Gotta love it when the "big uglies" pile up on the receiver that wins the game. That's love. LOL.
 
I didn't want to start a new McNutt thread, so I bumped this one.

This is a quote from Marvin from today (videos of the players being interviewed posted by the Gazette):

WR Marvin McNutt talks about his transformation from QB to WR. His 40 time went down and his vertical (42 inches and was 38) went up. He was a 4.7 40 and now he’s a 4.5. “It just took a lot of mental will, telling yourself you can do it.” Also, McNutt brushed through the NFL question as well as he could. “I’m pretty sure I’m going to be here next year.”

The guy is easily 6'4", runs a 4.5 40, and has a 42 inch vertical??! I'm very pleased he'll be coming back next year.

+1. I'm sick of people lamenting our recruiting because we don't get a dozen **** and ***** guys every season. Fact is, we have the best strength and conditioning program in the country, bar none. We don't need to recruit superstars, we make them ourselves.
