McNutt Combine

My guess is he will run between 4.6 and 4.70 40. He'll have a good to very good broad jump...vert upper 20's
Were you serious with this vert prediction? I am white and not blessed with great athleticism and I jumped 29! Did any of the WR jump below 30?

dont know exactly but i believe they do a stand still vert (no step). if you can go 29 on a stand still that is solid. his was freak for a stand still.

Stephen Hill, first round. 49 career catches, 4.30 40, day 2 projection, so fits the Raider mold perfectly.

i highly doubt the raiders are going to be so dumb anymore, they just cleaned house and got a real GM. which bums me out cause i hate the raiders.

back to mcnutt...

holy crap is he having a great combine. hopefully he can impress in the position drills and not have the dropsies.

Ha. With all the turnover with the Raiders I actually think they won't over draft a fast receiever this year. They have a few fast ones already and DHB actually was coming on late in the year. Any other Year I'd agree but I bet they don't take a wr till at least rd 3 haha

No joke, I really think he might be working himself into a 2nd-3rd round pick. And gasp...if some team REALLY falls in love with him...a very late 1st rounder....doubt it will happen....but let's not forget Ponder and many others...if teams like a player...they'll reach.

I was always confused why people kept saying he didn't have deep threat speed. He is proving them wrong now.

McNutt's a Steeler...they need someone who can play off of the speed guys on the outside...especially with Hines Ward nearing the end of his career.

no reach to think he has the ability to be a poor man's plaxico burress, esp with his height and ability to catch the fade in the redzone. very good potential and will def be a steal for some team if he falls to the later rounds.

NO he's going to Chicago!!!

What do you want to bet he ends up like a Buffalo Bill, a team NO Hawk fan follows...

that's what this thread is becoming haha

I figured McNutt would run a pretty solid time. His sophomore year, I'd have guessed he ran a 4.6-4.7. He got a little faster the next year, and then this year he was blazing compared to 2 years ago.

Any questions about his long speed could be answered by any of the Indiana game tapes. I think he will land with the Chargers, they will likely lose VJax and love tall wide outs.
