A lot of rumblings on The Open Mat forum that Destin will be making his college choice clear this weekend.

Sounds like he is supposed to be in town this weekend so the timing says Hawkeye.

However, there have been rumors for a while now that the Hawks were trailing Wiscy and tOSU.

That may mean he wants to pull the trigger for the Badgers prior to being in Iowa City this weekend for the big game. Making it clear that he is a Badger coming to town to cheer on the football team, not visit the Hawkeye wrestling room.

Anyway, hope he wants to be a Hawk, as there's no better place to be.

I have heard that McCauley is not visiting this weekend, and he just came off of a visit from his favorite Wisconsin. I don't have the visiting info from my normal source, but it is someone close to the program that I trust. I have been told he will be a Badger, but I would certainly like to see him pick the Hawks!

Official to wiconsin. If not us then i like that choice vs others he could have went to, frankly if he projects at anything above 149 it would not have been smart to invest much money in him as we are booked up at 157 and 165. People are going on about their class but Thielke won't be there for a while and Kelliher is ho hum IMO and Caldwell was not even much of an interest for us. They will have studs in Howe and Graff with McCauley and Thielke being hopefulls. I see the typicall Wisky team of some top guys but also they will have some weights that are on the weak side and no depth at all.

Destin is actually going to be a resident athlete at the Olympic training center for a year before heading to Wisconsin for the 2012-13 school year.
