Which proves that Fran had great expectations this year for Basabe and for some reason Basabe is not producing.
Anyone thinking that Basabe might be leaving early for the NBA needs to rethink what they are saying. If Basabe does not start playing like he did last year or let alone improve on last year, he is going no where (unless he transfers, which I hope he doesn't).
If or when Basabe begins to put it together is when we see this Iowa team begin to get better.
