I prefer not to dump on any Hawks, current or former. But your comparison fails big time. Zach has struggled over the last few games. But he's made his share of tough plays and big shots over the last couple years.... plenty more impact than the guys you sited.

Adam Shada made some plays too. Grigsby is a bad comparison though.

....the basketball equivalent of Adam Shada and Herb Grigsby rolled into one.

I dont understand Fran's facination with playing him. There was a stretch in the 2nd half where he put up 2 straight threes in 2 straight offensive possessions (missed them) and then picked up his 4th foul on a dumb defensive play and then got yanked. All in the space of about 40 seconds of game time. Just brutal!

First, NOBODY can ever be compared with Grigsby. He is and always will be in a class by himself. Second, I think McCabe is a great 'role' player. Can give solid minutes, rebounds hard. Can nail an open 3 as good as anyone on roster. Is ok the pick up fouls to keep an easy basket from occuring. Like that he plays hard. A little limited on athleticism, but big on heart and emotion.
