If there is any year that Campbell should leave, this is the year. If not, he is an ISU lifer.

This year hasn't gone well enough for him to get an upgraded job. Dropped 2 in a row against not very good teams and has two good teams coming up next. If he did something crazy like won out, maybe...but if he loses 2 out of the next 3 he's not gonna have the choice to upgrade.

I have a sinking feeling that it's going to be Wallace.

Which sucks because then I have to come on here and root for nebraska on Black Friday and I do NOT wanna do that. I like my Hawkeye clothes and I like going to games. And I'll have to pay $500 a year to keep my tailgate spot until he hopefully gets fired. I suppose I could sell it to someone until then.

I would really really hope Goetz would read the room and see that's a bad bad idea.

There are so many open jobs right now, I think his total resume would catch the eye of one of the openings. Maybe I am wrong.

It may not maximize the contract offer he receives, but he could still end up in a nice job.

True, but I don't think he'd leave where he's at unless it's a blue blood, and those schools aren't going to come calling him unless he does something spectacular with the rest of this season.
