Maryland's Jerseys

Yeah they bad and I then move on. I like watching football and iit's not like a uniforms is going to make me turn the channel. I get over it pretty quickly.
 
I didn't see the beginning of the game. Did they explain the uni's? Because, I can't make sense of them.

Was all for Maryland joining the B1G. But...
 
I have to admit I thought some of you were being ridiculous to give a hoot what the Maryland Jersey looked like... UNTIL I SEEN THEM on ESPN!! That uniform is beyond bad... that uniform looks like a quilt blanket. WTF??? NCAA does need to step in and place limitations on just how stupid a team can be.

After seeing the Maryland Uniform I seriously question anyone who thinks that is cool and/or acceptable.
 
As I see it, our name is really a characteristic. The character whom our team is named after "Natty Bumpo" had the characteristic of long range deadeye aim, hence his nickname "Hawkeye." Another such character is the long bow armed "Hawkeye" from the Marvel Avangers series. Jeremy Renner will be playing that character in the upcoming film.

So, both characters have a metaphoric nickname based off of a characteristic, which makes sense based on a Hawk's acute vision.

The Logo makes sense, because it centers on the Hawk's eye. The Herky mascot makes sense because it extends the metaphor so that it can be mobile.
 
The designer of these uniforms should be sent to Libya to design clothing for Moammar Kadafi. Whoever approved them inhaled.
 
Marylands uni's confused Miami into thinking they were playing two different teams at the same time, a brilliant piece of psychological warfare!
