Martin OK'd

What is a pretty good source? They are not going to sit on this news for a day. If it's done, UI will announce it.

We had a guy do this on Twitter more than a week ago.

Source is close to the situation and has been right on this situation before.

Iowa isn't going to announce anything on a Sunday.
 
At this point I don’t care. I will assume he will play until official word comes down.

You will either be a God in 24 hours, or the board will regard you like a certain poster whose claim to fame is the ability to post "fail" when stalking his victims.

I almost didn't post it because of that. I rarely post, but this did come from a close source and I figured , what the heck.
As I said nothing is fact until we get the official announcement.
 
I have a bunch of sources from the swimming community in Iowa City and they haven't told me anything yet.

The problem is that we don't know you or your source. Saying a source "close to the situation" is relative. We don't know how close. Your close could be way different than someone else's close.

It's not "what the heck" when it's news people have been anxiously waiting for more than a month.

As people on here know, I have a source close to the situation that allowed me to report that OM was coming to Iowa. When the person a Twitter put it out around a week ago that OM was cleared and news was coming soon, I had to contact that source, who shot it down. Now I'm having to do it again because this was put on this board.

You have a 50-50 chance of being right, but would you put a large some of your money on being right?
 
Not wanting to report it on a Sunday is a very Iowan thing to do. I believe the OP and I’d throw some cash down. This is big time news!

Actually reporting it at midnight at a Sunday night Is a very Iowa thing to do. Usually it’s at 8 Friday night, but midnight Sunday will do.

When trying to flush some bad PR. Something like this will be a Mid Morning statement release. Clap, but slap, good job, move on moment. OM 3 years is F’N great news! By all accounts the kid can ball.

His info is from a Twitter acct that has 160 followers. It’s bogus.

Probably not a large amount, but a small wager, probably.

Heard from this source about the Martin transfer before the news leaked out. Didn't report that. Maybe I should have.

Like I have said, nothing is official until we hear an announcement, but this is a message board and the guy has been right in the past.

Could be right, but I didn't get it from the UI or any twitter account. I don't even have a twitter account.
But, like I have said the info could be wrong. We'll have to wait and see.,
