Marcus Paige to UNC

If this is true, outside the hawkeyes, my new favorite team is the team playing North carolina that night, Man would I love it if Fran or the Mayor could steal one from Old Roy someday. Has Lin-Marion ever sent an athlete to the U?
 
We never had a chance. If McCaffery had been here 2 years ago then maybe but it was too late.

The funniest thing is the epic meltdown occurring on CF.com right now though. They were sure that he was a "lock" for Iowa State because of their golden boy's NBA connections on his golden Rolodex. Hoiberg isn't a God after all.

If the "Marcus Paige to UNC" news is true, I'm shocked UNC took him w/o even offering in-state PG Tyler Lewis, who grew up a UNC fan.

The only thread I see is one where most posters say they aren't surprised, and the "epic" thread is currently 11 posts.

Also, not one of the posts mentions Fred or any of our coaches.

Roy Williams is vastly overrated. UNC started 12-4 last year before they tanked. Right now they are 11-4. It wouldnt surprise me if they tank again.

They will tank again this year and will be left out of the tournament for a 2nd year in a row imo.

So the guy who has multiple NCAA Championships and nine Elite 8's or better is vastly overrated. God I love this site.

Hey Champ, didn't say these posts mentioned Fred's Rolodex or his name. I was mocking your people who said your coach when he was hired that the benefit was he has all these NBA connections so EVERY kid will want to play for a living legend that can get them in the league. Clown fans were more confident that Fred would get Paige than Iowa fans where Fran would get him.

Stay off here and go choke your chicken on your own board.
