Marcus Binns

Wasn't previously aware Marcus Binn's (brother of Broderick) was on the roster. Looks like he is a redshirt freshman this year. He was first team all state in Minnesota as a senior and had offers from Air Force and rivals shows him as being committed and signing with North Dakota. I'm wondering if he's on the list to contribute if injuries happen again this year?

Interesting. I didn't know that. Must have walked on? Transfer from North Dakota. Definitely smaller than his bro. But obviously has some wheels and is probably built like a brick s house.
I wonder if he has safety potential?? If the RB thing doesn't work out.

Perhaps in the scramble for RBs, they convinced his younger brother to come to Iowa?

It appears that he was giving up football when he left UND. Maybe brother talked him into walking on. It kind of appears that way. Also sounds like he has some nagging injury issues.
