Marble was close to a Triple Double

He made some bad decisions on a few of those shots, but I'm not going to complain too much. Heck of a win, and marble played big when he needed to.

Not a bad night for having an "off" night? Oh, and being forced to play out of position at the PG position, since he is not a PG:) That 7:2 asst to Turnover ratio won't do in the b-10, and he cannot play D, as he only had 4 stls.

Not bad.

He misses a lot of passes which would give us a chance for a score or an open shot but, considering the circumstances, he's done well when he plays the 1.

I'll take those stats every day and in every way when the Hawks beat a top 20 team by double digits.

C'mon sheesh what else can we pick at in Dev Marble's game?

Basabe's line was the most impressive to me.

13pts, 7rebs, 5 blks, in 28 mins

Oh, and he went 5-6 from the line

What was really impressive about Marble is how well he handled the ball when Indiana put a bunch of pressure on him. As a team I was impressed with Oglesby, Marble, Gatens, and even Basabe a couple of times when Indiana put on the full court press and Iowa was able to break it fairly easy. It looked like they expected it and knew exactly what to do when Indiana came with the pressure.

Strange game for Marble. If he had knocked down the shots he normally does, it would have been a laugher early. I believe he was 3-15 at one point in the game. He kept it together and made some hoops in crunch time and more importantly, recognized Gatens was on fire.

Did Marble play the whole second half? I don't recall him coming out. Its even more impressive considering he got mugged every time he brought the ball up.
