Malick Rucker transferring

Time to over-rate this kid and act like he is a superstar to give us some kind of reason to get mad at Ferentz.

Who cares, I didn't like any of his songs anyway. I do like him better as a country singer than with the blow fish though.
 
This is a bad decision on his part. I like players more that stick with it, work hard and earn playing time. He had the ability if only he had more determination he would have made it.

Yes, like Greg Castillo. Guy never started, looked really bad as a sophomore, but he found ways to contribute as a senior on special teams and as a nickel back. made the key play in Iowa's victories over NIU and MSU in 2012.

Can you find one thread from any message board that bemoans the fact that Malik Rucker should be playing more minutes, let alone starting? Otherwise, you're just perpetuating discord on this site because this thread is as benign as they come and no one had pointed any fingers or played the blame card.
 
This is a KF scholarship grab. Rucker’s twitter had something on it about cat’s changed spots on him like it wasn't his idea to move on? I’m assuming he was asked to move on by KF so his scholarship could be used in another way. The kid did play sparingly last year as a RS Freshman and would be a good special team player or depth guy which KF himself said was lacking. This staff has 4 KICKERS on scholarship now with the possibility of Marshall kicking and punting next year. Why not push a couple of kicker out? Just don’t get some of the moves this staff makes. Not saying Rucker is a big loss just saying I’d rather have him on scholly then a couple of kickers that haven’t done well?

Because every time Rucker was on the field you could tell he was bigger faster and more talented than people playing in front of him and clearly a play maker.
 
I'm sure KF will use this available scholly on another Long Snapper.....or maybe another Punter.
 
Just weird some of the stuff going on with the team. Safety position had always been a strong group but not so recently and to lose a guy who was good enough to get a schollie hurts.

KF certainly isnt filling any voids with Jucos or other teams transfers
