Lunardi Must be on Crack

Lunardi is typically way off until a day or two before the announcement, then he magically has the teams changed and only misses on a couple.
When I took this stuff seriously, I outperformed him every year. That's not bragging, it's just that choosing at-large bid is actually pretty easy. It gets down to about 7 or 8 teams for 4 spots. Not hard.

Lunardi chunks stuff into a computer program...and then reports it. Give him credit for writing the program. Everything else, no.

Iowa actually dropped 5 spots in Bilas top 68 after going 2-0 last week and dismantling Minnesota. 47 to 52. Minnesota was at 35, 17 spots above Iowa. LOL

I was QB and MLB in junior high. Offensive and Defensive captain, so, yeah, I totally played ball.

OH, you mean basketball. ;)

Yes, just in high school and then intramurals in college. I can't act as if I've been there before. But I like to think I know and love the game.

The only way to have Iowa in the field or even the first 8 teams out is to project how we will finish the year. I assume Lunardi is basing this on what teams have done to date...no idea just a guess. Thus, we are nowhere to be seen.

Those projections that have us on the bubble or in most likely are making assumptions as to how Iowa will finish...at 21-10. Someone else will most certainly weigh in on this and get it right.

The good thing is Lunardi's predictions don't mean anything. He's just a talking head with a forum to throw his guesses out there.

Like this one from last year.

Deace was bragging about getting 79% correct. That's basically missing all the bubble teams. I was at 98% when I did it.

Haha thanks for that link. What a ******* tool Deace was, I'm surprised he didn't give himself partial credit for the teams that he predicted to make the NCAA's but made the NIT instead, because really they did make a tournament so that's basically a win for him.
