Lose Hill and pick up????

In all due respect Sec, that was the point of another poster that Iowa isn't offering many high-end/high-level recruits. Red was just posting the numbers to prove that Iowa as in fact offering a higher percentage so your argument should be pointed at him, not Red.

Just for the record my original post was about Iowa's offers in relationship to others in the BIG.....nothing more, nothing less. Here you have that ranking as of today via ESPN's Top 300. I have added some info but the offers are listed.....and by the way, Red, please show me where you come up with 50 offers by Iowa as I count 32. You can check right here .....

I see, thanks ohhawk, that seems pretty solid to me! I am not sure why Red got his numbers. I am sure he will post something before too long.

my number came from ESPN
and by ESPN Wisnieski is a grade 80 4*
all anybody has to do is go to ESPN and look at the last couple of years to see for themselves, as to who and how many players Iowa has actually offered
these are not facts that are made up
as they can be proven by anybody that cares to look

* show me where one finds "your number" relating to 2013 ESPN Elite 300 and Iowa's offers to those players......that is what my post was about.

* The post referred to the ESPN Elite Top 300, Wisnieski is not on that list though he may be a 4 star. If you notice the Iowa entry for number of 4 star players in my BIG breakdown you'll see I included him in the 4 stars that Iowa has.......yep, that's him, the one and only.

* The post referred to 2013 YTD offers not the "last couple of years"

* "care to look"...........I gave you the link. Do you know how to read it and count? Did you care to look?

I give up.......and I'll just leave it at that.

so you only count 300 and discount all 4* players, way to go
as of right now 20 of the 29 recruits that have offers in the 2014 class are on ESPN's WL
with achange in the coaching hires and recruiting responsibilities, how were they offer very many,
unless you are saying they should offer all 300 and hope someone commits
Illinois has 8 players in this years ESPN 300
Indiana has 5 players in ESPN 300
Iowa has ZIP NONE
so the lack of offers to players in ESPN top 300 is to be expected and again it is just a reach to just ***** about KF

also the # is 35 offers, but if you would like I will print their names
the best player offered is Smith a 5* grade of 90 IND
the lowest Poggi a grade of 82 and rated 288th MD
the next 3 were
Treadwell grade 88 4* ILL
Bosa grade 87 4* FL
Hunter grade 87 4* TX
your act is getting old by trying to use useless stats to prove KF can't or won't recruit top players.
in the end Iowa recruited 45 4* players from different states including 2 of Florida's top players and 4 from TX in the ESPN top 300
this was going to be a small class so why waste your time and MONEY on players you know you have no chance with'
just look at all the monery they wasted on recruiting Hill and Kenney. only to watch Indiana and Michigan step in with little to no effort and get these players to flip
remember they do have a budget, unlike the schools like OSU and Michigan
OSU has 18 ESPN top 300 players in the state of Ohio alone
again this just prove just how useless your post was

my response was not this ^^^^ type of response, I don't pick and choose stats. you should know me by now, when I list a players * rating I list all the sites I visit with their ranking.
like when some says Iowa does not have any 4* players left, I post Young a 4* on 247 who uses Max Preps, and Wisnieski is a 4* on ESPN.
I count all the 4* recruits on ESPN with Iowa offers to show how Iowa is recruiting top talent, he just lists a specific sample to make a point.
a 4* is still a 4*, and at this point I will take as many 4*'s Iowa can land and be happy. no matter if they are a 90 4* or a 80 4*
