I really Hate these announcers. they are heaping praise on the pass to a wide open player under the basket who receives praise for squaring up under the basket for a wide open dunk....

I didn't even see any real bad calls at all. Not enough to go ballistic and cost your team the game, that's for sure.

Nope. Had nothing to do with it.

The UNI post was allowed to lower his shoulder into Iowa and it was a foul on Iowa, Iowa was then called for an offensive foul for doing the same thing.

That set the whole mess off and then the reffs went crazy on Iowa with where ever bit of contact was a foul on Iowa whether on offense or defense.

They called an offensive foul on Gattens off the ball on a fast break. Are you kidding me?

I actually agree with everything you said. UNI is very good at sliding into the offensive players space and then flopping. Unfortunately bad officials like tonight are fooled into calling it offensive fouls instead of the defensive foul it clearly is. But Fran has to do a better job keeping his cool. For as pi$$ poor as these officials were tonight if he bites his lip after the McCabe foul (flop) then it's still just a 2 point game and UNI ball. No big deal. Instead 8 straight free throws and the entire teams concentration gone, and the game is over while the refs continue to job Iowa even worse.
 
Poorest officiated game I've seen in a long time. UNI should be ashamed to call this a victory. Pathetic.
