Question. Do Nebraska fans have any clue how far behind the likes of Bama and Clemson their program is right now or do they see a video like this and think "Ermagawd, this is finally our year?" To even make the playoff, they will have to go 12-0 or 11-1 with a close loss to a really good team, then beat the East champ. The odds of this are very, very low. But then say they roll in as the 4 and Clemson is the 1, Bama the 2. They would have to beat 2 teams in a row that are just absolutely complete at every position on the field, with a number of NFL players liberally sprinkled all over the field. It's not playing a team like Iowa where there might be a weak guard on the o-line, a subpar corner or LB that you can attack, etc. Every single guy is a legit, solid D-1 player. Do they understand that?

Makes sense for a program that won NC's only a couple decades ago. Every year is there year and if it isn't its simply because they're disinterested in it being their year so they're going to let someone else have a chance.

Really? Dragging out some rafts and pretending they're on some sort of military mission about honor and filming it all while voice dubbing a bunch of platitudes over it is just plain stupid. This is almost as dumb as his thoughts of winning a Big Ten title last year and not scheduling a makeup game. Hey, I guess he has to sell this shit to his donors to keep the big money rolling in but really? How about winning first before the bravado? I guess if they win the West this year this will be looked back at as a "cool" PR message, but if they have another losing season this just makes them look like rubes. Now if they were doing flood clean-up or filling sandbags this narrative would have some semblance of meaning, but this message basically boils down to "don't miss your weight training". Man, it makes me wish they lose all their games.
