Little Caesars Pizza Bowl deal with Big Ten

This only makes sense as it covers the Big Ten in a case like 2007, where there were 10 bowl eligible teams, in that it gets as much of the conference into the post season as possible. Plus it is close to many Big Ten schools, so it makes sense geographically.

The Big Ten has had a lot of trouble getting someone eligible for this game, though, and that will likely remain the case.

Unfinished Business, we still don't have a Pizza Bowl Chamption trophy in Iowa City. How awesome would that look inside the media guide next season. We came close back in 2007, but it just wasn't meant to be, some other team went with seven wins. I cried. If Purdue had lost that day, it would have been us, I think.

Could 2010 be the year?

Do you believe in miracles?

I dislike the new Big Ten Bowl lineup as a whole. Two crappy bowls in late December, then six games within a span of 26 hours starting on Jan. 1. That means that I, along with the rest of the football viewing world, am limited as to what Big Ten games I'm gonna be able to watch.

Way too many bowls.
