Let's not lose sight of what's really important here...

Exactly, we are 2-0 and our defense is playing very good. Much of the Offensive problems can be fixed, and I think our offensive line played well today. Stanley seems to be playing tight and I think they missed IKM. At least it seemed Brian made the adjustment to start pressing downfield the second half and Smith made a nice catch.

Part of me is still wondering if Brian is holding some of his play cards close to his vest until we play Wisconsin. Lots to work on but not impossible and most importantly we are healthy. To give credit to Iowa State I thought they played well on defense and have some good athletes back there. Combine that with teh different style of defense they play it was a good challenge and we came out on top.

I'm sure that's part of it. People also need to realize they only get x hours a week to practice and mainly work on fundamentals in training camp. Can't call plays if the players don't know them/arn't executing them well in practice.
