Because we do have an excellent front court defensive tandem. It's really not that ridiculous of a statement.

We are currently playing well above standards. No one's standards were knocking on the door of the top 10 this year.

Every team but 1 (2 if you count the NIT champ) end in disappointment.
 
Westcoasthawk is a troll and a poor one at that. Iowa is playing as well as anyone in the country right now. Can they sustain it? 4 senior starters and a junior starter. They can....we will see if they do.

So our 7 steals, which are nearly half of their 16 turnovers, and their inability to get out and defend at the three point line don't account for your points here? And since when is 43.1% shooting "way above average"? Oh, you're talking three point shooting? That was 45.5% which, when you consider how open most of our three point attempts were, isn't all that great.
 
Let's be real guys: 5-0 in the conference is fool's gold. We haven't played as tough a schedule as Indiana and Maryland.

Indiana has had the weakest conference schedule so far.
 
Our 3 losses are to RPI 12, 17, and 37. We've played 9 teams against RPI top 100 and we're 6-3 in those games. That's a pretty damn good resume.
