Lebron James

pin2win

@hagertony
i don't watch much basketball during the season only playoffs so i don't know his emotion the whole season but after last nights game wasn't impressed. to be one of the greats you have to carry your team no matter what. is the elbow hurting him or is now an excuse to get out from under the cavaliers?

anybody with more knowledge of this sport enlighten me why he is king james or is it just a game?

is he going to be staying or headed to new york?

This is the first time we have seen the "human" side of Lebron. Since he has been in the spotlight he has been nothing short of magnificent. Now, in this series he has come back down to earth and some people are starting to question how great he really is. I guess I will see how the rest of this series goes before we can make a judgement, but this was supposed to be his year to win it and it's not looking too good. Before the playoffs I said there was MAYBE a 10% chance he left Cleveland, now if they lose to the Celtics I think its fairly likely he leaves.

I heard one opinion from an ESPN " expert " today stating that Lebron hasn't had the right coach yet, he pointed out that M.J didn't win a championship until Phil Jackson coached him, Kobe didn't win a title until Phil Jackson coached him, so naturally the answer is either the Cavs need to go after Phil or Lebron needs to head out west. ( this isn't my opinion, cause I really don't care )

As much as I hate to say it, Lebron would fit in nicely in LA

I just think that the Cavs coasted in the last month, and are now finding that facing an actual team ,one that plays good defense, is no easy task. Lebron is worthy of all the accolades...and the MVP,as he is the best individual player on the planet right now, but, bb is a team game, and the Celtics have won a title with this group of players. They play solid defense, and do not panic. They are also facing their own mortality, which means they know this is their last shot as a group,so they are motivated, and now finally healthy. KG being healthy is the key,and he is kicking Jamison's butt. Rondo is on fire, and killing Mo Williams/Parker.
Lebron is the only matchup that really favors the Cavs in this series, and 5 usually beats 1.

Lebron will be back, if not in game 6, then next year, hopefully as a Bull.

Game 6 will be a career defining game for LeBron. If they lose, this will be two years in a row they've had the best record in the league and haven't even made it out of the east. And if they lose I think he's gone, he will need a fresh start after these last two seasons.

He played about as passive as I have ever seen him last night. This postseason he has been extremely frustrating to watch as he's had a couple monster games (Game 3 in Boston and Game 4 in Chicago) and then other nights doesn't come close to playing with the same energy. I can't wait for Thursday's game to see what he does, I'm hoping for an all time great game from him.

i can't believe people watch a full season of this league! its pretty much a crap shoot if i team isn't shooting well you see this 20-30+ beatings because the other team doesn't play barely ANY defense! its almost sad how this game is played some nights

Cleveland is a one man show. They don't have anyone to take the pressure off of Lebron. Every other team has another player that they can run the team through. It is Lebron on 5 every night out there.

I love it. LeBron is a POS. He is full of himself and cares about nobody but himself. You would think that a night like last night would humble him, but instead he shows up at the post-game presser (hey, at least he showed up unlike last year after Orlando punked him), and he said, "I have had three bad games in 7 years so it is easy for you guys to write about it."

Really, LeBron? Three? That's it huh?

All I know is that MJ and Kobe have never laid an egg like this at home in Game 5 of a 2-2 series. This is called a chokejob.

I will never respect LeBronze as long as he remains a self-centered baby. When he starts using "We" at the beginning of a sentence instead of "I," that will be a step in the right direction. Until then he can be treated like Tebow aka God and go home before the Finals EVERY YEAR!

GO LAKERS!!!

This article sums up what I have been saying about LeBron for the last 2-3 years. He is the most self-centered baby in the NBA has seen in a long, long time. Kobe wants rings. LeBron wants attention.

Great read.

LoL...Kobe is a tool, he is the biggest baby in the world...seriously you are going to knock the best player in the NBA right now because he had one bad night? really...shows your hatred for him, but corse your love to the baby Kobe is even more funny..

So what you are saying is that you don't respect Kobe either? cause after all he is the biggest baby in the NBA.

Kobe has had his moments as well. Read the Simmons article and there is a box that lists the Kobe no-shows. The worst one was game 7 of the 2006 Suns series where he stopped shooting to show his teammates that he could do that. Remember, he tried to be traded?

I think most players of this level have had their moments. LeBron is only 25 and can be immature (see sideline dances) still. He is still fun to watch most of the time.

TChawk, you are ignorant. You did not even read the article I posted. It outlines everything wrong with LeBronze. Dude defines the word "tool."

Funny that Kobe passing the ball is something he can be criticized for considering many of the average fans say, "Kobe shoots too much."

And in 2006 the Suns were the 2 seed, the Lakers the 7. Kobe had nobody around him, and that Game 7 was at Phoenix. The Lakers were "supposed" to lose.

The last two years the Cavs have had the best record in the league, and been the #1 overall seed, and a favorite to win the title.

Also, Kobe was not the "MVP" in 2006. Although you may want the similarities to be there, they really aren't. LeBron has never won anything aside from individual awards. As I said before, I will start respecting him when he starts his sentences with "We..." and not "I..." Oh, and when he wins a ring. Don't tell me he does not have the talent that he needs, or that Kobe has. LeBron has Mo Williams and Antawn Jamison, who have both been all stars in the past two years. Shaq is old, but solid. I actually think Cleveland is a deeper team than the Lakers.

Crazy part is that the Cavs could win tonight and Sunday and move on to face Orlando in the East Finals. This series is not over, although many people, myself included are talking like it is.

Whatever you just hate everything about James because it takes the spotlight out of your baby boy Kobe.

I don't like guys who get treated like God. The reason I can't stand James is because he has done nothing to deserve the level of attention he gets. He has never won anything! It is OK though, my "baby boy" Kobe will be holding the trophy again this year with FIVE fingers raised in the air while LeBron is doing all he can to get the spotlight back on him because ya know he is gonna be a free agent? Have you heard?

If you don't like guys who are treated like God then you don't care for Kobe either then do you?
