When LaVall was at Iowa, I always heard good things about him...I met him yesterday at UofM hospital. He took time from his schedule to come and visit my step-daughter who is recovering from a surgery that saved her life.

LaVall is a great person and it was remarkable to see him show up at her room. He talked to her for awhile and gave her two autographed photos of Tim Hardaway Jr and stayed and talked for about an hour. It was an unreal experience and one I won't forget.
