i know we have quite bit of wrestling fans on this website so i thought it would be fun to start one of these here and will need some help.
Last Man Standing (non-All Americans)
Procedure:
1. Pick the wrestler (any weight) you think will go farthest into the season without a loss.
2. Pick a back-up, same criteria.
Rules:
:Your choices must not have previously been All Americans (not just last year).
:Your choices are out: a) if they lose, forfeit, or default; b) if they do not compete in one of the open tournaments or duals in which at least five starters from their team are competing. Exceptions to the latter are All-Star exhibition participants who miss tournaments on Nov 20,21.
:You cannot pick the same wrestler as both 1st and 2nd choices.
:You cannot pick the same two wrestlers in the same order as someone who has already picked.
:A loss to a non-collegian does not count.
Examples:
You pick Sponseller and Parks as your 1&2. Another player picks Parks and Sponseller, in that order. You are both in the game.
Sponseller continues to win, but Parks loses in December. Another picker has Sponseller and Covington and both are still alive. You are finished.
Sponseller loses in December and Parks continues to win. You are done if there are any 1st choices still alive.
