The Perkins injury took the air outta the Celts. They are a team,unlike the Lakers,and altho not as talented,team ball had prevailed over the talent of Lebron,Howard and Kobe until that team was broken up tonite. Really a shame. I am a Bulls fan but have been admiring how the Celts overcame a talent deficit thru sheer execution on both ends and teamwork. Now, without Perkins, the whole concept is ruined. I wanted to see both teams at full strength go at it in game 7...now it just seems like a formality.

With Perkins out the Celtics need to unleash the beast that is Brian Scalabrine. If he gets into the game, it's over for the Lakers.

I totally agree, Scalabrine needs to come in and drain some threes.

Also, if David Stern knew what was good for this league he would have demanded that Scalabrine and Adam Morrison play one on one games at halftime of every game during this series. Who wouldn't want to watch that, he's letting a golden opportunity pass by.
