Lady Hawks

Blowout city. The Huskers are very good, they don't need the help from the officials. It'll likely be PSU vs Nebby for the women's final.

If the game was closer I'd prolly be commentating on the officiating or lack there of. None the less not the reason they are getting killed...

Women's tournaments are pretty much always chalk. Highest seed ever to reach the championship game was a 4 seed. YAWNNNN!

Finally found some energy but way too late. Taylor has been solid. Little from everyone else.

Dixon also got hot. Theairra had 22 and 7, Dixon had 18. No one else scored more than 8, and Printy only had 4 (two of which came late on flagrant free throws). She's in an Oglesby-like slump right now. Would really hate to see her career wind down like that; she's earned a lot better than that.

Serious question. Is Lisa Bluder still the answer at Iowa for the lady hawks?
Probably. She gets them to the tourney. That's good enough for women's basketball. Seems like whenever Iowa gets in the Top 25, they can't handle it and go on a 4-5 game skid and have to rebuild momentum late in the season.

Absolutely. Is she C. Vivian? No. But Stringer is one of the top 3 coaches of all time, IMO. You don't replace that.

Bluder is a good coach and has an excellent relationship with her players. That's been obvious in every presser I've been to.

Daaang 2am? Idk much about the team this year but that they lost 5 straight after being ranked 18th nationally or something. That's frustrating and strange along w/ all of the knee injuries her teams have had while @ IA. Does that have anything to do w/ their training (and practice drills) /who they recruit (girls w/ prior knee problems) or are fast-paced sports tough on girls knees just in general? Serious question. Losing V. Johnson and Rodgers to career ending injuries didnt help this team either.

Hate to be that guy, but there's no such thing as Lady Hawks.

Hawkeyes is what they are. Hawkeyes is what we should call them.

Prior knee injuries is definitely a factor with this team, anyway. But I wouldn't pass up Printy or Taylor just because of high school knee injuries. Those two can definitely ball.
