Kyle Meyer had another good weekend.

Kyle played this week at the Under Armour Best of the Best camp. Found an article doing a Google search that was subscription only. Was able to piece together through the Google search description that "he played as well as he ever has this weekend". Also mentioned he was finishing well inside and showed good hands.

Rankings and numbers don't mean a whole lot in the end, but they're fun to follow -- and for what it's worth, ESPN has Meyer at a 91 now, higher than Aaron White and even with where Katenda ended up.

I was talking to an AAU guy from down here, big Clemson fan, who thinks Meyer will end up sneaking into a few top-100 lists by the end of 2012.

Does anyone think if his progression continues on the upswing that the top programs in the country will give a rats azz that his has already committed to Iowa? Having said that I have no reason to believe that he is not a man of his word and that he will not be swayed by Big Dogs barking. Other than that concern, this is great news and should help with over all recruiting. Better recruits beget better recruits.

well, he's ours if we get him to sign at the early signing date(November?). i'm sure other programs will come sniffing around though. unless he has some ridiculous summer, i think he'll stick with us, but you never know.

Oh for the day when we Hawkeye fans don't suffer these nagging insecurities.

Even when Iowa Football is getting 10 win seasons, no one is sure on a recruit until the papers are signed.

With today's recruiting, no one is safe, not entirely.

Here is a tweet from the same weekend.
"Kyle myer caused a no dunking rule on one basket. Iowa commit flushed one down the middle and the rim was never the same"
