Know Your Opponent - A Look At Hawkeyes

I like to see what their media/fanbase is saying. From article:

One of the unknowns remaining for the Indiana Hoosiers is how Curt Cignetti’s squad will respond on the road in a hostile environment. The Iowa Hawkeyes are 2-0 this season at home (Albany and UMass), they were 6-1 last season at Kinnick Stadium with the lone defeat being a one-point loss to Iowa State and 6-1 at home in 2023 with the lone defeat being by two points. Iowa does not lose often at home and they very rarely lose by double-digits in Kinnick Stadium: a 13-point defeat to Michigan in 2022 and a 17-point loss to Purdue in 2021 are the only 10+ point losses at home this decade.

Indiana fans have not been good long enough to be delusional and cocky. They leave that to OSU and Michigan fans. Nebbie fans are like former delusionally cocky jerks who have been in an abusive relationship with their team for 25 years.

When lurking I found their fanbase to be very complimentary and objective about the Hawkeye program and KF. They seemed very respectful and stated that KF is one of the best coaches and does it right. They also stated how difficult of a game it will be at Kinnick and it is one of the most difficult places to go and play.
Agree

Indiana fans know that in all likelihood this is a flash in the pan the same as we did after 2015. Getting cocky does nothing.
