Kinnick was absolutely awesome tonight

Hawk fans pulled it off. Very few green and orange iowa shirts. The atmosphere at kinnick was amazing. The crowd was loud and the black and gold sections were awesome. Looking forward to seeing it on dvd when i get back from iowa city tonight. Nice win. Defense played lights out. Offense was a snoozer for the most part after the first quarter. I know kirk is conservative and hey, the hawks won!

Glad to hear they aired some good shots of the pride stripes. From inside Kinnick it was absolutely spectacular. Very proud to be an Iowa fan right now, not only did people show up in the correct color, they cheered their a$$es off! The crowd was absolutely a factor tonight and it was wonderful to be a part of.

On TV it looked first class, I thought it was better than the gold out against OSU about 4 yrs ago.

My wife couldn't catch the very start of the game. But when she did walk in the house, she said, "OMG! How did they do that!" It did look amazing on TV. And you really didn't need audience shots because it was so apparent on just about every shot.

Congrats to the fans inside Kinnick last night! It was very impressive on tv as ESPN did a lot of scans of the crowd to give you the effect early on.

Glad to see the Hawks get up early too. Rest up & prep for Meechigan & Denard Robinson as I do not think he can last a whole Big Ten season as he gets to play some teams that actually have DEFENSES....ND, Indiana, & other teams that Meechigan has played.

I was there with Hawkoz junior and proud to say we followed the rules. The guy right next to me wore an orange hunting jacket and some poor couple 2 rows in front of us thought they were supposed to wear black and dressed themselves to the nines in black. They felt sheepish but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. A few here and there were not even noticeable. I know a helo was taking pictures it circled the stadium for the first half.

The crowd was definitely rocking. I'm a little raspy this morning myself, I don't remember standing so much at a game ever. The students kicked *** also. When they would get the whole section pumping their pom poms it looked very intimidating.
