Good for Desmond to make the decision that was best for him but I don't live in a world that millions of dollars just comes and goes and the opportunity to get a college degree is ALWAYS there especially in this example in which he'd have to go back for less than a year.

Do you guys think Ferentz guaranteed him a starting spot or will it be an open competition with Mabin and some new guys in spring and fall camp. I know Ferentz hates to see guys feel "entitled" to things like starting jobs or places on the depth chart. He might wind up getting suspended over and over like the Nebraska game, the "DJK Treatment" even at practices. I remember we were all excited about Ruddock coming back and he had his best season ever, but we know how that turned out....

King's making the right decision. He gradually fell off after the beginning of November, and was awful in the Rose Bowl. He might have been drafted high, but he isn't ready for the NFL. He's got a lot to play for this year. Welcome back.

Im sorry but this is a ridiculous statement. He had a lockdown big ten title game against the best receiver in the conference on national television. I think nebby was his worst game and he got beat once on a pass in which he tipped to the receiver and the fumble of course. But he set up our first second half td with a brilliant return. The rose bowl he didn't really get threatened much besides mcaffery running all over the place. He did miss some tackles but Christ who didn't in that game? He also should have had a TD on the punt return if not for the trip by the punter.We are extremely lucky he is returning and would have been perfect for the multitude of nfl defenses running zone these days.
