KF Tenure and future

I'd like to hear you tell me, how much longer will KF be HC. And when he retires will he simply step down in title and remain involved? Will Beth go outside like MBB or will she opt for continuitiy as in WBB.

I've already hear people say who they don't want, no need to share.

I think KF is pooped and there does not seem to be lot of energy about elevating the program to the next level.

I have no clue.
3 years left after this?
I could see anything from stepping down this year.
Stepping down next year.
I could see him go the full length.
I could see Beth hire internally.
Or I could see Beth hiring somebody young from a school like South Dakota St. Or even something like Missouri State.

About the only thing I don't see her hiring is someone who we've ever discussed in any kind of significant way. Either as a potential Iowa coach or just about them as a coach.

This is a great question.

KF always looks worn out during the season, because he is worn out. And then he bounces back after the season ends. Year after year.

I think he enjoys coaching and being around the players, so unless Beth pushes him out, I see him going on, just like Joe Paterno did. He has no hobbies, as he has admitted several times. Football is his life.

I always though it was an interesting concept to let a coach end his head coaching duties, but then let him return as an assistant coach. Kirk was an awesome offensive line coach. Would he return to that job, and let someone younger take the head coach position?
