Got a link redspank55?
haha awesome.
No, but it was on the old scout site.
Maybe not 90%, but I sure as hell got a ton of grief for saying Durant was the clear choice.

Greg Oden was an absolute man amongst boys against a Florida team starting three lottery picks in the front court in the NCAA title game. The revisionist history is that Durant was an easy choice, but it really wasn't the case.

Durant was a 5 tool basketball player. Oden was just big. Everyone thought he'd be the next Shaq. Problem is, there's just one Shaq.
At Durant's height / skillset, it really was a no brainer.
so, lesson is: Oden = Tebow Great college player, terrible pro?

What the **** is a 5 tool basketball player?
I stole it from baseball.
Shoot, pass, rebound, block shots/play D, dribble
Oden was a no-brainer No.1 pick and here is why: Barring injuries he would have been the best Center in the NBA by year two. He could run the floor, block shots and shoot the little hook with both hands.
Had their been any hint of a knee issue, I really don't think he would have been the No. 1 pick.
Durant is just a basketball player, he does everything well and is now playing the correct position in the NBA, he was a bit out of place at Texas. The guy can score in any way he wants, fun player to watch.
The NBA is becoming fun to watch again with players not going from HS to the NBA. I saw they not Top 10 plays on ESPN and was reminded again how bad it was. Martell Webb dunking a ball down three with less than 10 seconds to play. Just brought flashbacks of when the NBA play was degrading.
You can't be serious? He never ran the floor he jogged sometimes but he couldn't run his knees were so bad he couldn't.
After a couple of trips back and forth he always had to sit for 4-5 minutes at a time.
His knees were bad at OSU?
Remember with the broken bone he had he didn't play and wasn't in game shape until the NCAA tournament.
The dude was 18 years old and had to wear knee braces every game, probably even when he wasn't playing.
The body grows to a certain point and it doesn't handle it well. Gregs body couldn't handle the stress he put it under playing basketball.
Revisionist history is the best!

No revisionist history on my end. I was adamant that Durant was the better player... then and now...
