I really enjoy watching the Thunder play but because of him. I am not a Westbrook fan, he is always whining and complaining to the refs much like D-wade.

You would think that all the acting that goes on in the NBA half the guys were drama majors in college.
 
and he's a classy kid. easy to root for.

side note: how ****** are the trailblazers that they got stuck with horse knees Oden when they could have had Durant.
 
Kevin Durant is my favorite player in the NBA right now. Dude is just fun to watch and root for. And yeah, the trailblazers passed on Michael Jordan and Kevin Durant for Sam Bowie and Greg Oden....haha:)...that's just sad.

I remember arguing this back in the day.

I was adamant that the Blazers needed to take Durant. About 90% on this board called me an idiot and that Oden was a sure thing.

but if you're the GM, you had to take Oden. if you didn't and he turned out like Dwight Howard, you'd lose your job and never get another chance.

I wouldn't want Dwight Howard either. And I don't think Oden is anything like Howard, even before his injury.

I have to agree here Oden ran (walked, maybe a slow jog if lucky) the court like a 90 year old woman with a walker.

He couldn't shoot beyond a dunk, layup or bank shot from 4 feet. He was a less athletic version of Shaq.
 
Greg Oden was an absolute man amongst boys against a Florida team starting three lottery picks in the front court in the NCAA title game. The revisionist history is that Durant was an easy choice, but it really wasn't the case.

The TB's GM gambled, sure why not I mean as you put it he "was an absolute man amongst boys" but the fact is Gregory "bad knees" Oden was a risky pick and the trailblazers paid the price.

All draft picks are a gamble, ask Michael Jordan. He is single-handedly killing the bobcats mostly with gambled lottery picks.
