Nice! Do you think there is any chance Fran will give him a call? If not him do you see any tranfers heading this way? Scholarship wise a transfer could be help break up the classes a bit?

I admit I was a Lowery fan back when SA took off,and thought he should be given a close look before Lick was hired.
Weber and Painter had nice runs at SIU..not sure what is going on now.
Dillard was a nice player...I bet he ends up at DePaul.
Booker? Probably St Louis and majerus.
It seems the rise of Drake and UNI in the MVC has coincided with the slide of SIU.

And he got the big contract (in SIU terms) for being the next big thing. Even if he gets fired he will be a very rich man. The smartest thing he ever did was signing a long term deal with the Salukis (7 years, $750k/year back in 2007)

Not really, because I don't recall Lick's name ever being tied to any other openings other than Iowa. Therefore, I wouldn't say Lick was necessarily a "hot in-demand" coach.

Lowery's name was always mentioned.
