Keeping track of Iowa opponents

I will try to keep this up to date through the season and follow the Hawks opponents and how they fare.

Tonight

UMBC (0-7) lost to George Washington 83-60

ISU (4-1) is up 50-32 at half on Arkansas

Pepperdine (3-1) vs Cal State at 9

Thanks HH, always enjoy this thread.

I'll be rooting for TX but without Taylor I don't think they stand a chance.

Good to see Iowa and ISU get ranked wins. Should hopefully be a ranked matchup next week.

Arkansas will be a bubble team by the end of the year. They were horrible, I don't know how they were ranked to begin with, but in no way is this a "good win" for ISU by the end of the year.

I think Drake could have upset Ark too; just like Wichita St. being overrated, they lost in OT to Utah St. Either way, I think IA has the advantage at home court and playing tougher schedule early. Go Hawks!

ISU could have kicked the ball last night and it would have went in. They got multiple guys that can just flat out shoot. That Thomas kid is a sniper... If we could just maybe see Ogle's get that kind of determination and confidence with his shot, would be a huge boost for the Hawks.

They always shoot good at hilton. Curious to see how well they do at carver.

Well let's hope no one shows them the video of hickory measuring the dimensions of the court when they arrive in Indianapolis.

(Id post it, but I already posted it in some football thread for no reason, and I don't want to be a one trick pony)

So Iowa beats UNC shooting 25% and people think the kids deserve to be ranked.... but ISU beats a ranked Arkansas team, with two future NBA players, and it's just a win against an overrated team and means nothing...?!

Take off the blinders people.

The way UNC played the other night, Arkansas could beat them. I guess time will tell how it all shakes out.

HAHAHA.....UNC was 143-18 over 9 years with Roy Williams as head coach at home. Not a chance in hell that Arkansas goes into Chapel Hill with that garbage team and beats them.

Lets revisit this after the season and see who is firmly in the NCAA tourney (UNC) and who is on the bubble (Arkansas).
