MLB isn't far behind, The 100th highest salary in MLB is a 5-way tie for $15 million.
NBA has payroll of $5.5 billion this year and MLB has $3.7 billion.

I think it's safe to say Keegan will never be a superstar in the NBA. He's a guy that will get you 15 to 20 points a game and do everything else really well, but unless he finds himself on a different team with less guys that need to shoot, he's going to have a career very similar to Harrison Barnes.
I'm kind of shocked by the amount of money in his new contract, but extremely happy for him. It's nice to finally have a few Hawkeyes in the NBA.

Just ordered a fake Celtics 55 jersey from China the other day. I'm a Suns fan but I'll fully admit there's no cooler looking jersey in all of sports than the green Celtics one. Absolutely timeless and stands out like a sore thumb.

I really hope Garza gets a solid opportunity with the Celtics. I know he's a step slow and that hurts his defense, but the guy can score, rebound and he hustles like no other.
I'm a Bucks fan and would agree that the Celtics green jersey is pretty cool. Top five in the league for sure.
I saw some of their game the other day he was wearing 52. Wonder what that's about.
I think he'll make the team easy enough. What is role will be will be interesting. I'm so glad he finally left MN cause they were so stacked with 4 and 5s. He wasn't ever going to play but during garbage time if that there. I thought it wsa so odd he signed there the yr prior even.
I don't think he'll be the first post player off the bench for Boston either but hopefully higher up the list then being the 14th man.

Luka was very active last week in an exhibition game displaying a lot of energy
Of course, on offense, he was open for threes all night and was never passed the ball
During the exhibition phase all the hot dogs wanna make an impression and that was
on full display

Yeah his number has changed a few times, I'm guessing because he's kinda a borderline guy but I ordered the 55 because it's his Iowa number.
I get fake jerseys from DHGate because there's no way I'm paying $229 on fanatics. The fakes are unbelievably nice and are pretty much indistinguishable from "real" ones you buy from fanatics or get at Scheels, etc. I've compared them side by side and they're insane. About $25 after shipping but they take 6-8 weeks.
It's also the only way to get jerseys of obscure players. I'm a Braves guy till I'm dead, but I also grew up watching the Cubs as a little kid in the summer since Wrigley didn't have lights and everything was on WGN. So I have a collection of Cubs jerseys of players from back when I'd watch Harry Caray and Steve Stone call games during the day. I tend to like the ones Harry Caray had trouble pronouncing but some are just players I liked.

I just looked into that. It's interesting so it's costing give or take 13 milly and they want it done by Dec of next yr. So far he's gotten 5 million through investors, specifically venture capital investors. The rest is being financed through a banking lending institution.
I've always wondered how one goes about trying to get banks to loan you millions of dollars for something like this. Seems risky to me. But I guess if you have two sons earning NBA pay checks willing to back it that'd make it way easier. But I sure hope that's not what's happening unless the boys absolutely are all about it.

When you say 'he's gotten' are you talking Kenyon or Keegan?
Kenyon for the project in North Liberty is who I was referring to. I have no clue if Keegan or Kris has had anything to do with it at all. Kenyon is the only one I've read anywhere about it that has.
Keegans contract he just signed was for 140 large. But in CA he'll probably get about half of it as agents and money managers start subtracting. If I'm him I wouldn't have signed that and tried to get out of CA and go to a state with more favorable tax rates after this yr. I think this was going to be his last yr on rookie deal. Or do is it a 5 yr deal team option? I forget that part.
When you're talking about that amount of money it's no joke it adds up. FL, TX, OK are probably the best states to go to. But mostly just get away from that Sacramento organization it's trash
